Jenny has always loved a good book and a great story. Her love of story led her to Wittenberg University where she received a BA in English Literature and a minor in Secondary Education. At Wittenberg she met and married her husband, Dave, and rather than pursue a teaching career they both chose to pursue vocational ministry to teach people about “the one true story” of Jesus. She’s served in various part-time and full-time roles in large and small churches throughout Ohio, including 7 years of planting and leading a church in Liberty Township alongside Dave.
Jenny has been on staff with Center Pointe since 2017 serving as our Connections Pastor. She is passionate about seeing individuals embrace the Gospel, grow in grace and connect fully into the life of the local church.
When not at Center Pointe Jenny is wearing one of her mom hats: dance mom, cheer mom, soccer mom, golf mom, baseball mom or dog mom to one of her three kids (and their Mini Goldendoodle, Scout). She’s learned to love the things her kids love and looks for opportunities to develop community in the places they go.
Jenny values creativity and loves opportunities to write, design, and create at home and work. She taught Zumba fitness classes for ten years and still loves any chance she can get to dance. In recent years her family has started traveling to National Parks around the country and she embraces any opportunity she gets to visit a new park (especially if it’s in California). When all is said and done, though, Jenny feels happiest with a grande blonde roast (with cream and cinnamon powder) in hand while engaged in a deep conversation with a good friend.
