Bryan was raised in West Chester, graduating from Lakota West in 2002. He grew up in the church and always believed in Jesus. When he was in 6th grade, his family started attending Center Pointe (named Lakota Christian at the time). It was at Lakota Christian that Bryan decided to take the step of Baptism. The summer before senior year, he started to understand what it looked like to follow Jesus and felt a calling to ministry. While at a CIY conference, Bryan experienced the fullness of the invitation to be made new and transformed by Jesus.

After high school, Bryan attended Kentucky Christian University, receiving a Family Ministry and Bible degree. While in college, he also interned at Center Pointe. We are so thankful for this full circle moment with Bryan returning ‘home’ to lead our staff team. Bryan looks forward to making Jesus known in a church, community, and city that he already loves so much!

Bryan and his wife Hannah have been married since 2006. Together, they have a daughter, Addy, and two sons, Logan and Gavin. As a family, they love cheering on their Cincinnati teams, riding roller coasters, and frequenting worship concerts. Hannah and Bryan have also discovered a love of scuba diving together. Bryan enjoys hunting, fishing, and going to the movies. He is a self-diagnosed Star Wars nerd. Bryan is always ready to fire up the XBox if anyone is interested in being smoked in Madden.

After Bible college, Bryan served in student ministry in Bettendorf, Iowa, and Elkhart, Indiana, for 12 years collectively. After serving for eight years as a Student Pastor Canton, Ohio, he then served as a Campus & Teaching Pastor. The Shelleys moved back to West Chester in 2025 to become Center Pointe’s Team and Teaching Pastor.
