Foster Parent Night Out
For our October Contribute we are asking for Uncommon Generosity in the giving of your time.
We are hosting a Foster Parent Night out at Center Pointe on November 15th. We pray this will be a HUGE blessing to local foster parents. They will be able to drop off all their kiddos for an evening of fun and enjoy a few hours of respite.
Not everyone is called to foster, but everyone can do something. Jesus commanded his followers to take care of the widows and orphans. Thank you for joining us in loving the modern day orphan.

Is there something inside you waiting to be awakened to the breadth of God’s Kingdom? Do you believe there is more to life than the 20 mile square radius you live day after day? Then this trip may be for you. Join us to learn more about what it means to travel to Ghana, Africa with International Needs. The trip is March 11-21, 2025.
Do let fear of the unknown or finances stop what God may be calling you to!
Come learn more September 15th @ 11:00 in the Community Room.
More about the trip:
Encourage, celebrate, learn and most importantly connect with brothers and sisters across the globe. Visit International Needs entrepreneurial school for girls. Encourage these young entrepreneurs as they can accomplish their goals with the skills they have learned to set their life on a new course. Meet the church planters that are the boots on the ground in bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ to their own country. Hear stories and share encouragement to continue the growth of God’s Kingdom in Ghana.
Visit schools that our child sponsorships kids go to. See the exciting work of bringing education and the gospel to these Ghanaian children. Learn how International Needs continues to build relationships with their government to bring these kids out of slavery and child marriages to have an opportunity to receive an education and hear about the hope in Jesus Christ.
Join us as we share in bringing the love, hope and life of Jesus Christ to the Volta Region (Ghana’s poorest region) and experience first hand all the ways Center Pointe has helped the gospel spread all this region.

Local and Global Mission Partners
Our desire is to mobilize people to do what Jesus did wherever they are. We want to engage our neighbors, our city and the world. At Center Pointe, you’ll find that our local outreach is done almost entirely through our small groups. We believe that we can simply do more and do it better when our groups take the initiative and serve where they naturally have influence and passion! Below are some resources to help small groups take the next step in serving our city (they are great resources for individuals and families as well).
Pathway to Hope
Pathway to Hope is a pregnancy care center that has been serving the Hamilton area since 1993. Our mission is to save the lives of the unborn by reaching women and men in unexpected pregnancies and providing them with the necessary education and support to choose life. We promote the sanctity of life and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We provide women in crisis pregnancies with the necessary support services to enable them to carry their babies to term.
Family Promise
Family Promise provides overnight lodging and support services to homeless children and families in Butler County. Once enrolled, families are “hosted” by local churches, who shelter and feed them. Discover the wide range of volunteer opportunities at Family Promise of Butler County– from serving meals, to providing financial literacy training, to assisting with fundraising events. There is something for everyone!
Pause For Parents
Pause for Parents, Play for Kids, Inc. provides rest, support, connection and fun to families with differing needs to build resilience and increase hope. We support families who have children (ages 0-24) with developmental disabilities, mental/behavioral health challenges (including complex trauma), chronic medical conditions, children with IEPs/504s and those in foster or kinship care. By giving families space to share their story and use their voice, Pause serves as the bridge to stronger relationships, better outcomes and more inclusive communities.
Serve City
Serve City is an outreach center in Hamilton, Ohio, dedicated to serving the needs of Butler County’s low-income and homeless individuals and families, offering help and hope to our neighbors in need. Drawing churches together in unity to minister the love of Jesus Christ to people in need of food, clothing, and shelter, while helping them obtain a higher level of self-sufficiency and increased connection to God.

Global Missions
Center Pointe works with several local and global partners to share Christ and make disciples. Our three-fold strategy challenges each person who wants to be on mission at Center Pointe to: Learn, Pray, Give, and Go.
Project Manana
We exist to share the gospel and help break the cycle of poverty by investing in impoverished children, their families and communities through clean water, nutrition, education, and discipling projects. We achieve our goals through charitable donations and child sponsorship, which unites children in need with individual sponsors who wish to address the child’s immediate and basic needs.
International Needs Ghana
International Needs Ghana (INGH) is a Christian development organization which began operations in Ghana in 1984 and was officially registered as a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization in October 1987. We are committed to seeing transformed lives and changed communities through partnerships guided by God’s love and a commitment to holistic development. We seek to achieve this through our integrated thematic approach in promoting community development.
