Kristin Sanders
CP Kids Volunteer Development Coordinator
Kristin Sanders is excited to join the CPCC staff as the CP Kids Volunteer Development Coordinator. She and her family became members of Center Pointe Church in early 2024 and soon began serving in CP Kids and leading a small group. With a background in elementary education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Kristin has taught English and Social Studies at a Christian school and led youth ministries with her husband, Josh, across Iowa, Ohio, and Indiana. In 2013, she became the KidMin Director at a church in Oxford, Ohio, and has also led KidMin seminars nationally for Group Publishing.
Kristin grew up with a strong faith in Jesus, but key moments in her life, like financial struggles in ministry and her daughter’s severe brain injury, challenged and deepened her understanding of faith. She learned that true faith isn’t about forcing God’s response but trusting Him with her whole life, even in hardship. Today, Kristin reflects on God’s constant goodness, faithfulness, and grace, knowing He is always present and worthy of her trust, no matter the circumstances.
Kristin and Josh, married in 1999, have four children and two Labradoodles. Over the years, they have focused on fostering a home full of love, laughter, and deep conversations, especially as they navigate the “launching” of their young adult children. Kristin is passionate about equipping others for ministry, drawing inspiration from Ephesians 4, where Paul speaks to the importance of leaders training the Body of Christ for service. She looks forward to growing the CP Kids ministry through steady prayer, encouragement, and support and is thrilled to be part of a team where God’s goodness and faithfulness are displayed in both joy and hardship.
