Michael Garland and his wife Heather have been happily married since 1999, and they have four children together: Aidan, Keenan, Isabella, and Elijah. Michael has worked in insurance and financial services for 23 years, and he owns a State Farm agency in Fairfield, Ohio.

The Garlands have been attending Center Pointe since 2016 and have been very active with their small group, regularly serving together to support various area nonprofits and ministries. Heather enjoys serving on the Baptism Team, while Michael serves on the Connections Team as a worship center host.

Before coming to Center Pointe, Michael and his family were active members at Veritas Church, where he led the Sunday morning experience team (encompassing the audio, video, slides, lighting, stage design, and coordination with the worship team). Heather led the missions team for 3

years, and Michael was able to co-lead two of the trips with Back2Back Ministries to Monterrey, Mexico. Michael enjoyed leading a married couple’s small group for eight years and also served as an elder for Veritas Church for five years.

Michael is humbled to serve Center Pointe and excited to support our mission to help people find and follow Jesus.
