Born in California and raised in Texas, Heather moved to West Chester in 2019.  She and her husband, Jake, have been married since 2007 and have three incredibly active kids. Her sons, Owen and Cooper, both play football for Lakota West, Owen also plays travel baseball, and her daughter, Ellie, stays busy with soccer and basketball. The family is rounded out by their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie. Heather can be found cheering her kids on from the sidelines, where she has happily served as “Team Mom” for their various sports teams over the years. 

Heather holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Texas Christian University. She spent nine years working as a financial analyst and asset manager before becoming a stay-at-home mom, and later took on a part-time remote role as an audit associate for a CPA firm. Raised with a strong foundation of faith, Heather has known Jesus since a young age, and her relationship with Him has deepened through each unique season of life. The Herring family first attended Center Pointe in September 2025. Center Pointe was the first church in Heather’s adult life that felt like home. 

Heather and her family love traveling to all-inclusive beach resorts—a strategy that makes feeding two teenage athletes more manageable! Heather enjoys hot yoga, biking, reading, and enjoying the spiciest Mexican food she can find. 

In her role on staff, Heather uses her organizational and financial strengths to support the ministries at Center Pointe. She finds joy in knowing that vital, behind-the-scenes financial work plays a foundational role in helping others find and follow Jesus.
