Love Is Why: ON MISSION
Project Mañana
CPCC partners with a local or global organization every month to make a Kingdom impact. This month’s Love Is Why partnership is with Project Mañana in the Dominican Republic.
Project Mañana has quickly outgrown its one-bedroom home in Cienfuegos, Dominican Republic, which currently serves as its base of operations. From that house, it provides services to 114 children and their families. Project Mañana is planning to build a new Community Center. The first step is purchasing two plots of land for $50,000.
Center Pointe’s goal is to help fund this project. You can donate directly to the new building project using the link below. We have a team going to the DR in June & would like to help supply their trip. HERE is a list of items the team needs.
Please return your items to the Love Is Why: On Mission table in the lobby by May 25th.
Summer Lunch Program
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
May 27th - July 31st
The Summer Lunch Program ensures that Lakota students on free or reduced lunches during the school year continue to receive meals into the summer months. Lakota Nutrition provides meals. Volunteers can show God’s love in more ways than simply serving the food. You can actively engage with the children by reading books, playing games, being an active listener, and providing an encouraging voice in their lives.
Center Pointe is partnering with Lakota Nutrition. We need volunteers at Woodland Elementary & Princeton Village Mobile Home Park on Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from May 27th to July 31st.
- Kids are welcome to come with parent(s)
- Invite friends & neighbors to serve with you
- The Summer Lunch Program is a perfect serving opportunity for a community group
- A free background check is required to serve

Local and Global Mission Partners
Our desire is to mobilize people to do what Jesus did wherever they are. We want to engage our neighbors, our city and the world. At Center Pointe, you’ll find that our local outreach is done almost entirely through our small groups. We believe that we can simply do more and do it better when our groups take the initiative and serve where they naturally have influence and passion! Below are some resources to help small groups take the next step in serving our city (they are great resources for individuals and families as well).
Pathway to Hope
Pathway to Hope is a pregnancy care center that has been serving the Hamilton area since 1993. Our mission is to save the lives of the unborn by reaching women and men in unexpected pregnancies and providing them with the necessary education and support to choose life. We promote the sanctity of life and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We provide women in crisis pregnancies with the necessary support services to enable them to carry their babies to term.
Family Promise
Family Promise provides overnight lodging and support services to homeless children and families in Butler County. Once enrolled, families are “hosted” by local churches, who shelter and feed them. Discover the wide range of volunteer opportunities at Family Promise of Butler County– from serving meals, to providing financial literacy training, to assisting with fundraising events. There is something for everyone!
Pause For Parents
Pause for Parents, Play for Kids, Inc. provides rest, support, connection and fun to families with differing needs to build resilience and increase hope. We support families who have children (ages 0-24) with developmental disabilities, mental/behavioral health challenges (including complex trauma), chronic medical conditions, children with IEPs/504s and those in foster or kinship care. By giving families space to share their story and use their voice, Pause serves as the bridge to stronger relationships, better outcomes and more inclusive communities.
Serve City
Serve City is an outreach center in Hamilton, Ohio, dedicated to serving the needs of Butler County’s low-income and homeless individuals and families, offering help and hope to our neighbors in need. Drawing churches together in unity to minister the love of Jesus Christ to people in need of food, clothing, and shelter, while helping them obtain a higher level of self-sufficiency and increased connection to God.

Reach Out Lakota
Reach Out Lakota provides food and clothing to families living in West Chester & Liberty Townships. We do this through collaborative efforts of community donations, business partnerships, and volunteer teams. We are located at 6561 Station Road in West Chester and serve clients on Mondays 5pm-7pm, Wednesdays 10am-Noon or Fridays 10am-Noon.

Christians in Actions (CIA)
CIA exists to express Christ’s love to those in need within our local community. They aim to fulfill the command of scripture by serving the widowed, elderly, and single parents in practical, tangible ways. By providing home maintenance, car repairs, and support during life transitions, they connect with individuals and families in the brokenness of this life, opening doors to share our faith. CIA is building the Kingdom, one repair at a time, and invite all Christians to join them in this mission.
Global Missions
Center Pointe works with several local and global partners to share Christ and make disciples. Our three-fold strategy challenges each person who wants to be on mission at Center Pointe to: Learn, Pray, Give, and Go.
Project Manana
We exist to share the gospel and help break the cycle of poverty by investing in impoverished children, their families and communities through clean water, nutrition, education, and discipling projects. We achieve our goals through charitable donations and child sponsorship, which unites children in need with individual sponsors who wish to address the child’s immediate and basic needs.
International Needs Ghana
International Needs Ghana (INGH) is a Christian development organization which began operations in Ghana in 1984 and was officially registered as a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization in October 1987. We are committed to seeing transformed lives and changed communities through partnerships guided by God’s love and a commitment to holistic development. We seek to achieve this through our integrated thematic approach in promoting community development.
